The Sovereignty of God!!!

I found this picture on foxnews.com It is an absolute picture of God's sovereignty. I know tornados are apt to skip houses, but fires??? I pray those people realize that is was the Lord that saved their home. So look and be awed by the Lord of all.

Isn't that amazing? People are saying the fire literaly looked like it had particular houses in mind to burn and to spare (of course we know who really had this in mind). There are so many testimonies in our church right now of how the Lord spared each of their homes when all others around them were burned. We really serve such a good God.

Yes, girl, I guess I am kind of asking for accountability. I don't want it, but I want it....does that make sense? I did fair today......bad day......in the car most of the day, had a wreck and then went to a movie with the boys......so that means popcorn......I did have fruit and veggies, did a workout with weights and lots of water. It's a beginning......I know what to do; I don't do it well.

Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, I am working upper body one day, lower body the next. I like doing it everyday, but know that the muscles need a day of rest in between. God is so good to help me. I am not even getting on the scale yet, just focusing on doing what is right. Now I need more prayer and discipline about my food. : ) I'll see you this morning at worship!

I am doing okay, just haven't slept for two nights. (I did get some sleep last night). It was multiple things on Sunday night that kept me up: my mind, snoring, dogs barking and Grant got up with hives. Long night! But I am better. Thanks for asking! I did feel much better after the walk and workout.

Well, I just went to Wild Oats to get some fresh fruit and veggies. I think I am going to pack some of those for tonight. I don't want to eat a heavy meal after the game and we will be leaving our house around 3 because Luke has drum lessons! UG! I have a bag that I bought for the missions' trip that will keep food either warm or cold. I am going to bring it to the games with fruit and veggies in it. Wade and I just decided to let the kids eat as much as they want before we leave home, then take some snacks. I don't want to eat out every time we have a game! UG! I am doing some reading to help me think of things to pack......some clean eating snacks. We'll see. I'll miss you tonight! My time to visit with you and we will be there early, too, like last time!

That is so funny! I was just on the treadmill and thought the very same thing! I could fix our big meal at lunch and Wade could just eat "leftovers" when he gets home. In reading about the "cleaning eating", they recommend the big meal at lunch.....it's better all the way around anyway. So I might try that tomorrow. I want to try a chicken dish that I didn't get to last week on my menus. It will get into my school time, but I'll see if I can make it work. Thanks for the suggestions! I love having you to bounce things off of!
